In today's busy world, where congestion is ever increasing, the need for implementing traffic calming measures has become a necessity and forms a major part of the road marking industry alongside traditional road markings.

Thermoplastic can be used in conjunction with glass beads. With glass beads the already reflective thermoplastic is made even more reflective, which is very useful on roads and car parks where there is little to no lighting, as light sources such as vehicle headlights cause the thermoplastic to shine brightly.
